Answer:

A sense of Holden’s state of mind can be derived from his following statements:

1) In Chapter 5, Holden tells us about how Allie’s death put him into a nervous breakdown, and he smashed all the garage windows with his fists.

2) Also, at page number 98, while crossing the street, Holden says to Allie, “Don’t let me disappear”.

From these statements, it is evident that Holden held Allie very close to his heart and was greatly affected by his death. As a result, his emotions manifested in the form of anger and fear of death.

Read the excerpt from The Code Book.
valentinak56 [21]

Answer:

A). Tell about an experience with a computer virus.

Explanation:

As per the question, a way to better associate with this excerpt is to 'tell about an experience with a computer virus' as it would help the audience to relate to it and understand it effectively. The speaker's personal experience with the virus would not only enhance the clarity of the message regarding the impact of viruses on systems and the private data of users that author wishes to convey to the audience but also help promote its effective understanding that would help elicit intended response. Thus, option A is the correct answer.
