Answer: in the other types of boundaries lithosphere plate is either created ie: (divergent plate boundaries where new oceanic crust is formed) while at convergent old oceanic crust is destroyed . But in the case of transform boundaries the plates slides past each other and lithosphere plate is neither created or destroyed . California San Andreas fault is a transform boundary.

As a deep-water wave enters shallow water, the part of the wave in the shallowest water slows down. the deeper-water portion of
Afina-wow [57]

The answer is parallel.

To add, absolute water depth has nothing to do with the difference between shallow and deep-water waves. On the other hand, the ratio of the water’s deep to the wavelength of the wave is that one that determines it. A deep-water wave’s water molecules proceed in a circular orbit while the orbit of the molecules of shallow-water waves molecules’ orbit are elliptical.

Slope = 1; y-intercept = 8
insens350 [35]

Given parameters:

Slope  = 1

y- intercept  = 8

Unknown:

Equation of a line with the given slope  = ?

Solution:

A straight line is usually written in the form;

         y  = mx + c

where y and x are the coordinates

          m is the slope

          c is the y-intercept

To solve this problem, simply input the given parameters;

           y  = 1(x) + 8

           y = x + 8

The equation of the line is y = x + 8
