Connotation is the emotion that a word incites in someone. It doesn't have to do with the word's actual definition, (denotation) but is very important to its usage.

The words "puppy" and "doggy" have a good connotation, making them sound cute and diminuitive.

The words "mutt" and "hound" have a bad connotation, which makes them sound dangerous.

The words mean the same thing (they have the same denotation) but the sentence changes a lot depending on which one you choose.

As for the examples you gave, "standpoint," "view," and "perspective" are all pretty neutral. (not good or bad) However, a "bias" is a view which is clouded by something, usually personal interest. Note that not only is the connotation of this word different, but the denotation is too.

How did hilter use propaganda to his advantage
Natali5045456 [20]

Answer:

Whilst the SA and the SS played their part, the Nazis primarily focused on increasing their membership through advertising the party legitimately. They did this through simple and effective propaganda .

The Nazis started advocating clear messages tailored to a broad range of people and their problems. The propaganda aimed to exploit people’s fear of uncertainty and instability. These messages varied from ‘Bread and Work’, aimed at the working class and the fear of unemployment, to a ‘Mother and Child’ poster portraying the Nazi ideals regarding woman.  Jews and Communists also featured heavily in the Nazi propaganda as enemies of the German people.

Joseph Goebbels was key to the Nazis use of propaganda to increase their appeal. Goebbels joined the Nazi Party in 1924 and became the Gauleiter for Berlin in 1926. Goebbels used a combination of modern media, such as films and radio, and traditional campaigning tools such as posters and newspapers to reach as many people as possible. It was through this technique that he began to build an image of Hitler as a strong, stable leader that Germany needed to become a great power again.

In "The Light of Gandhi's Lamp," Hilary Kromberg Inglis writes about how she feels before meeting her sister's jailer: And here
babymother [125]
This passage suggests that Inglis, despite her goals for change, is afraid, and realizes the challenge of her situation.

She wants to not only change Apartheid, but change the heart and perspective of the guard at her sister's jail, though she knows fully-well that this is going to be a difficult task. She also fears what will happen if she is unable to soften him.
