For too long, people who want to put others down have been able to hide behind the first ammendment, saying that they can say whatever they feel like because they have the freedom to do so. That is not acceptable. To put it simply, I once had a teacher tell me, "Your freedom of speech ends when it imposes on someone else's right to peace and happiness."
Also, those with a personality-based mental illness shouldn't be allowed to have a gun. I am not hating on people with mental illnesses, as I have about 20, but many people who end up shooting up schools and things like that have a mental illness.
