The correct answers to this open question are the following.

The main characteristics of religious belief in early Mesoamerica were the following. Mesoamerican civilizations such as the Olmecs, Toltecs, and Aztecs had a pantheon of gods that thew worshiped for their many attributes. Most of them had an interpretation of natural elements as was the case of Aztec Rain God Tlaloc. Or the Feather Serpent God that was known as Quetzalcoatl, who promised to return in the Aztecs prophecies.

The role the environment played in the evolution of societies in South America was very important because these civilizations honored and respected mother nature for everything it provided. That is why these indigenous people had chants and special dances to ask for rain or show appreciation for the food the had.

Which principles of democracy are not followed in an authoritarian state.
Travka [436]
The correct answer should be something like equality, or equity, but mostly it is the right of the people to choose their own representatives. In authoritarian states the rulers are usually not chosen by the people and impose their will without the opinion of the people.

Use the excerpt from Eugene Debs's "How I Became a Socialist" to answer the question.
zhenek [66]

This excerpt shows how Debs has endured and shared the harsh working conditions of laborers (D.).

Many verbal groups indicate his physical involvement in the working people's daily life and how it affected him emotionally:

  • "I had ... been stung by the exposure ... of the rail;"
  • "I was with the boys ... at the broken engine's side;"
  • "helped to bear;"
  • "feel the burden."

As for the harsh working conditions, they are described by the following nouns and adjectives:

  • "hardship;"
  • "weary;"
  • "bruised and bleeding bodies;"
  • "burden."

We know that they are laborers and not, for example, business owners, because their work is very manual. Besides, the term "working class" appears in the text, as well as "Proletaire" which is borrowed from French and means "belonging to the lower social classes."
