<span>Dr. Jekyll has unexpectedly turned into Mr. Hyde.
Jekyll seems surprised by his transformation, which shows that it is unexpected. He has to look down at his hand and judge the thoughts in his mind to know that he has now become Hyde, instead of transforming on purpose. </span>
I remember reading this poem and I would say he is contemplative because in the poem he doubted if he should ever come back. He is contemplating like thinking about both roads he likes both but has tochose one. This was a hard question. I hoped that helped !!!
