The Western Empire was brought under Constantine's control. He had also established a prospering empire in Italy. However, he was unable to establish the, "New Rome." This was because Western Rome's armies were much too strong and maintained control. Constantine was overthrown by a Foreign Prince', and that was the start of their ruin.
