14 points of Jinnah was a constitutional reform plan to safeguard the rights of Muslims in a free India.

Explanation:

By 1929 there was a real air of belief that India will sooner or later become one self governing nation and it was clear to Jinnah that the Congress was to be the ones ruling over it.

So, to ensure more safeguard for the underrepresented Muslims in the country, he came up with the 14 pointers to unify the Muslims of the nation as well as to make the Congress and other leaders understand his demands.

These principles became very significant for the Muslim population and even became a binding force for them.

The 14 points of Jinnah were important for the development of Muslim because it safely preserved all the political rights of Muslims. Hindu-muslim unity was reformed due to the Muslim league and Lucknow pact caused under Moti lal Nehru.

Before the formation of 14 jinnah there was no such bill or organization to look after or safe the political rights of Muslims. Muhammad Ali Jinnah created 14 Jinnah which depicts the legal right of Muslims. He prepared a report and send it to All India Muslim League for final approval.

Some major points which included in 14 Jinnah are: Territorial reformation would not affect the property of Muslims, Muslim culture and sentiments would be safe guarded by the constitution, Before passing any bill in legislative assembly presence of Muslim representatives are mandatory.
