Claims and support are related because claims are statements that are made by authors in relation to some subject matter that are backed up by "support" or evidence. Therefore, based upon these options, "An author will use support to back up a claim." This claim and support are what authors use to create arguments in writing to make a point and to express a perspective on a particular issue.

Well here the author says that inner voice of us reveals our feelings, regrets in other words what we live in our life is reflected inside of us. So he gives the example of water .Like our life, it runs quickly and our life also one day will be cut off which means it 'll come to an end. So this sheet of water is one of the pages of our life which is one part of in our long life journey.

How do you know that Helios's cattle will be slain? the odyssey
Novosadov [1.4K]

Answer:

Because Tiresias says so in Book 11.

Explanation:

In Book 11 of the epic poem "The Odyssey", the main character Odysseus descends into the Underworld. There, he meets Tiresias, a legendary prophet, who gives him a warning. Tiresias tells Odysseus that if he and his men wish to come home soon and unharmed, they must learn to curb their desires. Tiresias knows, however, that Odysseus' men won't be able to do so. For that reason, he also warns Odysseus about Helio's cattle. The cattle are sacred, special, and should not be killed and eaten like regular animals. If his men end up killing the cattle, they will be murdered; Odysseus will have to return home alone, late, and as a broken man. That prediction is exactly what happens.
