It is amazing to learn how many commonly used things produce indoor air pollution. Some commonly used things that produce pollut

ion are: no-iron sheets and pillowcases, automobiles, by-products of foods cooked on the stove or in the oven, furnaces and heaters, glues and other hobby materials, air fresheners, and aerosol sprays. Of course smoking is another major source of air pollution. Smoking bans in many public places have helped reduce air pollution, but millions of people continue to smoke in their homes. Based on the definition of the prefix, what does the underlined word mean? once a year twice a year twice a month every other ye
ddd [48]

Answer:

Twice a year

Explanation:

Your question is incomplete, but I assume that the sentence you were given is:

The women’s club held fundraisers on a semiannual basis.

The underlined word is semiannual. The prefix in this word is semi-, which means half. For example, a semicircle is half a circle.

Semiannual means twice a year. Once half a year passed, the women's club held a fundraiser, meaning that they organized fundraisers twice a year.
