Under the article of confederation, congress was granted powers that were narrow in scope and authority. Powers established to the federal administration in the articles of confederation stand to define peace and war, resolve arguments between states, and create and control the interstate post organizations. The congress named congress of the confederation in the articles that is constructed upon the organizations of the second continental congress and as such was a unicameral body where each state had one vote.
