10=100%
X=45%

10*45=450
450/100=4.5

4.5 is the answer

Or you could just multiply 10 by .45

Hope this helps!

Please crown;)

A sealed tank of water measures 10cm x 8 cm x 40cm. When it stands on one
Pavel [41]

Answer:

New height = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

The water is going to be the same volume no matter how the tank is orientated.

So you can do this 2 ways.

First way

Find the volume in the tank when the water goes up 24 cm on the height.

V = L*W*h

L = 8

W = 10

H = 24

V = 1920 cm^3

Now do it using the

L = 40

W = 8

h = ?

1920 = L * W * h

1920 = 40 * 8 * h

1920 = 320 * h

h * 320 = 1920

h = 1920/320

h = 6

Or you can do it without finding the 1920

L*W*h = L1 * w1 * h1

8*10*24 = 40 * 8 * h                                The 8's cancel

10*24 = 40*h                                           Divide both sides by 10

24 = 4h                                                    Divide by 4

h = 6

Same as you got before.

Jack is playing a game. When a player wins 3 consecutive games, the player receives 10 bonus points and then the player’s total
svlad2 [7]
Let Jack's current point is p

After winning 3 consecutive games, the bonus point is given by
b(p)=p+10

The score after 5% = 0.05 increase is
s(p)= (1+0.05)p=1.05p

(s.b)(p)=1.05(p+10)=1.05p+10.5

The angle of depression of a car C, from the top of the building of height 100m is
Crazy boy [7]

Answer:

a) 148.26 m

b) 21.94 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

a)

tan 56 = 100/x

1.4826 = 100/x

x = 148.26

b)

148.26 + 100 = 248.26

tan y = 100/248.26

tan y = 0.4028

y = 21.94 degrees

yanalaym [24]

Answer:

r = 2.04%

Step-by-step explanation:

r = n{(A/P)^1/nt - 1}

Where,

r = interest rate = ?

n = number of periods = 12

A = future value = $22,960

P = present value = $20,960

t = time = 4 years

r = n{(A/P)^1/nt - 1}

r = 12{(22,960/20,987)^1/12*4 - 1}

= 12{(1.09)^1/48 - 1}

= 12{(1.09)^0.02 - 1}

= 12 (1.0017 - 1)

= 12(0.0017)

= 0.0204

r = 0.0204 × 100

= 2.04%

r = 2.04%
