Why was the Battle of Trenton important to the American Revolutionary cause?
Dmitriy789 [7]
The Battle of Trenton was immensely important to the American Revolutionary cause because this was the war that showed the Americans could defeat the British and so it also helped in raising the morale of the revolutionaries. the Americans were very low on morale as they had been inflicted heavy defeats by the British army on several occasions before the Battle of Trenton. This battle gave the fledgling morale the boost to again rise up and fight the British army. It was a success that went a long way in getting the Americans their desired freedom from the British rule.

Soldiers returning form World War I brought back disease back to the United States, causing an epidemic that swept the country i
GaryK [48]
Soldiers returning from World War I brought back disease to the United States, most notably causing the deadly Spanish Flu epidemic in 1918. An H1N1 virus, the Spanish Flu resulted in upwards of 50 million deaths worldwide, around 700,000 of which were US citizens. The flu's deadly impact and its global spread existed as a negative byproduct of the growing interconnectedness of world affairs. With more and more individuals interacting with each other around the globe (be it due to war, trade, or travel), the contraction and spread of diseases became a much larger problem than in earlier periods of isolation.
