The objective is to make y the subject.

x - 2y = 3

<u>Take away x from both sides:</u>

-2y = -x + 3

<u>Multiply by -1 on both sides:</u>

2y = x - 3

<u>Divide both sides by 2:</u>

y = 1/2 x - 3/2

Answer: (D) y = 1/2 x - 3/2

So firstly, subtract x on both sides: -2y=-x+3

Next, divide -2 on both sides, and your answer will be y = 1/2x - 3/2 , or the last option.

AP=8. Because 18 ÷ 6= 3, 3×6=18. So how you get AP is = to 8 is you ÷ 24÷3=8. You do the rest to what fits it. So AP= 8, EI=7, SN=15, YR=12.

Answer:

a = 4

Step-by-step explanation:

\sin(theta)  =  \frac{opposite}{hypotenuse}

\cos(theta)  =  \frac{adjacent}{hypotenuse}

\tan(theta)  =  \frac{opposite}{adjacent}

hypotenuse = a

opposite = 2√3

adjacent = b

theta = 60°

the best formula to use is the first formula cause we have all the values to substitute in it in order to find the value of a

\sin(60)  =  \frac{2 \sqrt{3} }{a}

\frac{2 \sqrt{3} }{ \sin(60) }  = a

4 = a

a = 4
