Yes,it can be proved to be congruent,as:

AB=AD (given)
AC=AC (given)
Since AB = AD,it is an isosceles △
Thus,BC=CD(properties of isos.△)

Therefore,ΔCAB ≅ ΔDAC (SSS)

The answer is Yes;ΔCAB ≅ ΔDAC

Hope it helps!

Answer: Yes, Δ ACB ≅ Δ ACD

Step-by-step explanation:

Since, Here ABD is a triangle in which AB = AD

Therefore, ABD is the isosceles triangle,

Also, AC is altitude of the isosceles triangle ABD.

Therefore, AC will be the median of the triangle ABC ( By the property of isosceles triangle )

Thus, BC = CD

Now, In Δ ACB and Δ ACD,

AB ≅ AD (given)

CB≅CD ( Because CB= CD)

And, AC≅AC ( Reflexive)

Therefore By SSS postulate of congruence,

Δ ACB ≅Δ ACD

Thus, Third Option is correct.

A surveyor measures the angle of elevation of the top of a mountain from a point at
Sauron [17]

The height of the mountain from a point a sea level is approximately 1496.650 meters.

What is the height of mountain from sea level?

First, we construct the geometric diagram of the situation and find all needed angles and sides to determine the height of the mountain. First, we determine the missing side x by the law of sines:

Law of sines

1000 m/sin 3° = x/sin 14.261°

x ≈ 4706.886 m

Now we determine the height of the mountain by trigonometric functions:

h = 100 m + (4706.886 m) · sin 17.261°

h ≈ 1496.650 m

The height of the mountain from a point a sea level is approximately 1496.650 meters.

Uni made a model of a 1970 Ford Mustang using a scale of .5 inches = 9 in. If the actual car is 15 ft long, how long is the mode
kykrilka [37]

Answer:

The model car is 10 inches long

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve this question, we use conversion of units

Feet to inches.

Each feet has 12 inches.

The car is 15ft long.

So the car has 15*12 = 180 inches.

.5 inches = 9 in.

Rule of three

.5 inches - 9 inches

x inches - 180 inches

9x = 180*0.5

9x = 90

x = \frac{90}{9}

x = 10

The model car is 10 inches long
