Answer: D. First person point of view.

First person point of view is the most common point of view for personal narratives. In the first person point of view, the narrator is also the main character of a story, and the narrative is told through the use of the pronoun "I." First person point of view has several advantages. It allows us to have a deep understading of the main character, as well as being extremely vidid and personal. However, it also causes us to know little of the other characters' thoughts and motivations.

How do Tom and Daisy feel about race? Why does Fitzgerald include this information? What does this say about the context of thei
Lelechka [254]
Tom feels like he is of the "superior" race. He explains a book that he read that says that if they don't watch out, the white race will be "submerged" in just a matter of years. Clearly he believes that as a white man he is of the dominant race, and the fact that there is a book published about it and he can freely say these things shows that many people in society are of the same mind.
Some people today still think this way, although it is socially not acceptable to say it or act like it. Fitzgerald probably included this information to show how opinionated Tom is and set the tone of society at the time.
