This excerpt is from the play Julius Caesar correct? I read the (SV Simplified Version) of the play and the (MV Modern Version) of the play. However not the original version since it seemed too complicated. If you read the play Cassius in Act lll scene l words found above. You can tell that "aside" is a speech spoken by a character to the audience or to another character onstage that others onstage are not supposed to hear.
