Answer:

He is arrested for simply going for a walk.

Explanation:

Currently in our society, going for a walk is seen as a positive thing. One does not get arrested for getting some fresh air. This would indicate that he lives in a dystopian society. The other statements are not true about the story. We do not know anything about Mead getting married. There is obviously a government if going for a walk is illegal. We know that people watch TV but we don't know if there is any work.

What is the theme in, “The Bat-Poet”?
Plz give textual evidence!
Andrej [43]

Answer:

The most apparent theme of The Bat-Poet is the value of looking at life from a different point of view.

Explanation:

This theme is developed through contrasts between the bat-poet and the mockingbird, who represent different kinds of poets, and between the chipmunk and the other bats, who represent different kinds of audiences.

The young child, having been warned by her mother, did not go near the hot stove.
LuckyWell [14K]
If the underlined phrase is having been warned by her mother, then this is a nonessential perfect participial phrase.
Nonessential phrases are separated from the rest of the sentence by commas, and since this is a perfect participle, this is the only correct option.
