Paul advised women to remain silent when they were in Church, and ask their mates later, the meaning of what was said. Doesn't exactly coincide with writing sermons. Nor were they well accepted as advisers, although I think they did manage to say things if they worked it correctly. A wise man never disregards wisdom when he hears it, regardless of the source, but I don't think that's the answer you want.
