‘Why not take these cheeses, get them stowed, come back, throw open all the pens, and make a run for it? We'll drive the kids an

d lambs aboard. We say put out again on good salt water!' Ah, how sound that was! Yet I refused. I wished to see the caveman, what he had to offer— no pretty sight, it turned out, for my friends. Based on this excerpt, what inference can be made about Odysseus? Check all that apply. Odysseus is a careless leader who does not care about the safety of his crew. Odysseus’s curiosity about the Cyclops is stronger than his good judgment. Odysseus wants to see if the Cyclops has anything to give to him and his men. Odysseus is worried about appearing weak in front of his men.

Answer:

Odysseus's curiosity about the Cyclops is stronger than his good judgment.

Odysseus wants to see if the Cyclops has anything to give to him and his men.

Explanation:

The text above shows the moment when Odysseus decided to visit the home of the Cyclops. He knows that this can be dangerous and that he can put himself in danger and put the lives of his men in danger (which in fact happened), however he is so curious about the creature that curiosity has become stronger than what his common sense and for this reason he leads his men on an excursion into the Cyclops' lair.

Furthermore, Odysseus believes that if all goes well, the Cyclops may have something of value to help him and his men.

Citrus2011 [14]

Hello. This question requires a personal answer, where you must present your own opinions about the educational system. However, to help you out, I'll show you how I would answer that question. I hope this answer can serve as a model for your answer.

From my point of view, our current educational system has not been effective in preparing students for life. This is because our educational system is very traditional, and uses a structure where students are motivated to memorize concepts in order to get a good grade on the tests. This act of memorizing is very harmful to students, as these concepts are quickly forgotten after the tests are administered. Our educational system has failed to stimulate debate and discussion about the issues presented in the classroom. These debates and discussions allow students to be more participatory and learn the concepts rather than memorize them. Learning the concepts is much more beneficial because it allows them to remain with the student forever.
