I can give you a tip :D

when solving these problems , use PEMDAS

PEMDAS stands for.... parenthesis; exponents; multiplication; division; adding; and subtraction

you use PEMDAS for the order of operations

for example~ number one says, 4 + 7 x 3 - 1

since there are no parenthesis or exponents you just do multiplication
7x3=21
so your new expression will be 4 + 21 - 1
4 + 21 = 25
25 - 1 = 24
your answer is 24
for multiplication, division, subtraction or addition, it all depends on the order it’s in. if the expression would say 2 - 1 x 7 + 1 instead of adding first, you would subtract
same thing goes for multiplication and division. if the expression says 2/1 x 1 , you would divide 2/1 first, then multiply

hope this helps :)))
stay safe!! <3

Consider the expression: (x + 3)•(y + 1)•(x + 2)
emmainna [20.7K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

First we multiply x through (y+1). This equals xy +x.

Second we take 3 through (y+1). This equals 3y+3.

Next we take xy + x through (x+2). This equals 2x squared, y + 2x squared.

Fourth we take 3y+3 through (x+2). This equals 6xy + 6x.

How do you solve ky-bf=fy/m?
makvit [3.9K]
Which variable would you like to solve for?

Let's try solving for y since you have two of them.

ky - bf = fy/m

kym - bfm = fy --> [ multiply by m ]
kym - fy = bfm --> [ subtract fy on both sides ]
y(km-f) = bfm ---> [ factor out a y ]
y = bfm/(km-f) ---> [ divide by km-f on both sides ]

In geometry, a prism is a polyhedron comprising an n-sided polygon base, a second base which is a translated copy of the first, and n other faces, necessarily all parallelograms, joining corresponding sides of the two bases. All cross-sections parallel to the bases are translations of the bases.

Faces: 2+ n

Edges: 3n

Vertices: 2n

Symmetry group: Dnh,, (*n22), order 4n

Dual polyhedron: convex dual-uniform n-gonal bipyramid

Conway polyhedron notation: Pn

Rotation group: Dn,+, (n22), order 2n

formula :- The base area of a rectangular prism formula = base length x base width. The base area of a triangular prism formula = ½ x apothem length x base length. The base area of a pentagonal prism formula = 5/2 x apothem length x base length. The base area of a hexagonal prism formula = 3 x apothem length x base length.
