If we don't control them, overpopulation may occur and there are many risk factors that may tag along with not controlling predators and pests. Currently we have them controlled so they aren't overpopulating nor are they a harm to many. Without control they will slowly take over, and attact prey and they could be found everywhere. Etc. etc.
