Answer:

20 ounces of water- are advised for the players to drink water prior an hour of practice.

Explanation:

This is important for the player to hydrate the body properly. The proper hydration helps in increasing the cardiac output, increases the blood flow and lowers the core body temperature. The player can reduce the perceived effort of exertion by drinking the 20 ounces of water.

  • The athlete follows the rule of the proper hydration of the body. They must drink proper amount of water before and after the exercise.
  • The excess intake of water makes the urine clear rather than Yellow. The harmful poison and toxic substances are removed from the athlete body.
  • The 20 ounces of water requires 20 minutes to empty the stomach and absorbed in the body. The water must be drunk before one hour of practice so that athlete will not feel bloated at the time of practice.
  • The amount of water can be changed depending upon the sweat released by the athlete during the practice. They should consume more than 20 ounces of water.
  • After the exercise the players must drink at least 24 ounces of water. This is important to regain the water that has been lost during the game.
  • Hence, the athlete must drink at least 20 ounces of water prior an hour before the exercise.
