The girl sat in the boat. She could not believe that so much time had passed since her best friend left. The two used to do everything together. She looked up. She stared at the shore, deep in thought. The girl thought about the boy. She thought about all the memories the two had shared, and all the special moments they had lived through. She was sad when she left. She almost could not believe that it had happened. And now, although a long time had passed, she could not get over the feeling of loss. She cried softly in her hands, while secretly hoping he would come back again.
