An encyclopedia would be the source to look for the Salem witch trials, because an atlas is a collection of maps, a dictionary is used for word definitions, and a thesaurus is used for synonyms !

De facto segregation can be defined as a type of segregation in which racial, ethnic, or other forms of discrimination continued even though they weren't sanctioned by any legislation or law.
