Meiosis cellular reproduction creates daughter cells which are not the same as the parent cells. This means that their genetic composition is different to their parents, meaning that their is genetic variation between the parent or daughter cells.
Mitosis cellular reproduction creates daughter cells which are identical to the parent cell. This means that their genetic composition is the same as the parents, meaning that there is no genetic variation between the parent or daughter cells.
Hope that helps.

3. How would you date a sample of rock that you suspect as being one of the earliest on Earth? (1 point)
Kay [80]
If I were attempting to date a rock sample that I suspect to be incredibly old, i would use radioactive isotopes with a long half life. When dating rocks and fossils to discover approximately how old they are, radioisotope dating is used on igneous rocks found near fossils. Things like Uranium 235, which is an unstable radioactive isotope of elements, decays at a constant rate over time so can be useful in determining age.
