  • The renaissance started in the beginning of 14th century and lasted till 17th. This period is considered as the greatest achievement era for the mankind since the end of roman civilization.
  • There was advancement in art, literature, cultures and social as well as political aspects.
  • In this era, scientific advancement also excelled which caused the industrial revolution later.  
  • The advancement in technology and industries was the major cause because the countries started colonization of other countries in search of market for the products and raw materials and also for the expansion of military power of the European countries.
