People were not able to access all parts of the Earth (we still can’t, but we have made improvements). Maybe some places were too mountainous, too hot, too cold, or just too harsh. The early civilizations had to adapt to certain ways of living so they would flourish, and the climate, weather and geography would stand to be a challenge for them. I hope this helps!
