Answer:

Example #2: A parenthetical citation.

Explanation:

A.) If it were a part of the sentence, it would be much more embedded. For example, "...appears to be twice the of the preceding 80, according to 'Sea Levels Rise'".

B.) Also known as an MLA format citation. MLA citations are much more detailed than the given one because they need to include the author's name, the page in which it was cited, and must be completed with a complete reference in the works cited page.

This leaves you with only option C.

I'm writing an argument essay on ebooks are better than printed books and can some one give me and example of an argument essay
Gelneren [198K]
I would start it off on what you will be talking about. For example, you could begin with what books and ebooks are both used for.
In the first body paragraph, you explain one reason why you believe ebooks are more useful. In the second paragraph, explain why other people may disagree, and then emphasize on why you think differently.
In a few more paragraphs, list more reasons that support your point of view and do your best to persuade the audience to agree with you. Hope this helps!

What is the relationship between word choice and mood in a poem?
vovikov84 [41]

Answer:

Word choice affects the tone, imagery, and voice of a written piece. Just as you use your tone of voice to demonstrate to others how you feel, in writing you use your words to communicate your attitude toward a subject. Tone can be positive or negative, happy or sad, angry or peaceful, hopeful or desperate, and so on. Mood is the feeling created by the poet for the reader. Tone is the feeling displayed by the author toward the subject of the poem.
