ok so what you have to do is combine like terms. for the first one the steps are:

subtract 1m from 2m

-4=1m

and that is your answer: -4=m

Employees at the ACME paper bag corporation have two fast food restaurant chains located next to the corporate parking lot: Carl
Slav-nsk [51]

Answer:

0.7 = 70% probability they'll eat lunch at Carl's Jr. Wednesday.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have that:

Carl's Jr on Monday.

On Tuesday:

40% probability of Carl's Junior.

100 - 40 = 60% probability of Wendy's.

On Wednesday:

If on Tuesday it was on Carl's Junior, 40% probability of Carl's Junior on Wednesday.

In on Tuesday it was on Wendy's, 100 - 10 = 90% probability of Carl's Junior on Wednesday.

What is the probability they'll eat lunch at Carl's Jr. Wednesday?

p = 0.4*0.4 + 0.6*0.9 = 0.7

0.7 = 70% probability they'll eat lunch at Carl's Jr. Wednesday.

A(t) = (t – k)(t - 3)(t - 6)(t + 3) is a polynomial function of t, where k is a constant.
mr Goodwill [35]

the absolute value of the product of the zeros of a is -108 .

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

Here we have , a(t) = (t - k)(t - 3)(t - 6)(t + 3) is a polynomial function of t, where k is a constant.  Given that a(2) = 0 . We need to find the  absolute value of the product of the zeros of a . Let's find out:

Equation every factor of a(t) to zero we get:

⇒ a(t) = (t - k)(t - 3)(t - 6)(t + 3) = 0

⇒ (t - k) =0\\(t - 3)=0\\(t - 6)=0\\(t + 3) = 0

⇒ t  =k\\t =3\\t = 6\\t =- 3

But , t=2 So , k=2  . Now , the absolute value of the product of the zeros of a is :

⇒ k(3)(6)(-3)

⇒ 2(3)(6)(-3)

⇒ -108

Therefore, the absolute value of the product of the zeros of a is -108 .

A square garden has sides that are 17 meters long. Fencing costs $9.00 per meter. How much would it
Papessa [141]

Answer:

$612

Step-by-step explanation:

Each side of the square garden is 17 meters, and fencing costs $9 per meter. "Around" is the key word, as it indicates perimeter. So, we just need to account for each side of the garden, and not the entirety of the garden. So,

17 · 9 = 153

This means that to cover one side of the garden, it would cost $153. Now, we just need to account for all sides of the garden.

153 x 4 = 612

Find the numbers 1-20 using only four 4's and any operation
Papessa [141]
0 = 44-44
1 = 44/44 or (4+4)/(4+4) or (4/4) / (4/4) or [(4! - 4)/ 4] - 4
2 = 4/4+4/4
3 = (4+4+4)/4
4 = 4*(4-4)+4
5 = (4*4+4)/4
6 = 4*.4+4.4
7 = 44/4-4
8 = 4+4.4-.4
9 = 4/4+4+4
10 = 44/4.4
11 = 4/.4+4/4
12 = (44+4)/4
13 = 4!-44/4
14 = 4*(4-.4)-.4
15 = 44/4+4
16 = .4*(44-4)
17 = 4/4+4*4
18 = 44*.4+.4
19 = 4!-4-4/4
20 = 4*(4/4+4)
