The Zapotecs, known as the 'Cloud People', dwelt in the southern highlands of central Mesoamerica, specifically, in the Valley of Oaxaca, which they inhabited from the late Preclassic period to the end of the Classic period (500 BCE - 900 CE). Their capital was first at Monte Albán and then at Mitla, they dominated the southern highlands, spoke a variation of the Oto-Zapotecan language, and profited from trade and cultural links with the Olmec, Teotihuacan and Maya civilizations.

Andrews [41]

If I had been a delegate to the First Continental Congress, I would have agreed to this course of action. Yes, the letter was the correct action to take.

Here are the reasons why I would have agreed to send a letter to King George III.

First, this was an injustice. American colonists worked so hard to make a living and the British crown always wanted more money from them.

That is why I should have signed the letter asking King George III to repeal the taxes that violated colonists' rights in the 13th. colonies.

American colonists were upset and tired of the British government. The English imposed severe taxation such as the Navigational Acts, the Stamp Act, and the Tea Act, among many others.

The First Continental Congress was a delegate's assembly held from September to October 1776 in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Delegates from twelve of the thirteen colonies assisted the gathering in Philadelphia.

Some of the delegates who attended the Congress were George Washington and Samuel Adams.

We conclude that if I had been a delegate to the first Continental Congress, I would have agreed to send a letter to the King of England asking him to repeal the taxes that violated colonists' rights.

Who did the Minoans trade with and how far did they go?
Semenov [28]

Answer:

Explanation:

The Minoans owed their prosperity and sophistication to their success as a great maritime civilization, delpendent on the sea for trade and food. They traded with Egypt, Anatolia, Mesopotamia, Greece and Spain.t is likely, says Stamatoyannopoulos, that the Minoans descended from Neolithic populations that migrated to Europe from the Middle East and Turkey. Archaeological excavations suggest that early farmers were living in Crete by around 9,000 years ago, so these could be the ancestors of the Minoans.
