The Korean war is a stand off between Democracy and Communism.

It was fought in Korea, with the US and NATO helping South Korea, and the Soviet Union and primarily China helping North Korea.
North Korea's objective was too take all of the Korean Peninsula and to unite it under communism rule. NATO's objective was too stop that from happening, and if possible, to take all of Korea and unite it under democratic rule.
After fighting for a long while, they called a truce because both sides couldnt win
