Answer:

The answer is 1 1/6

Step-by-step explanation:

So in order to add the fractions you must first find the common denominator( the bottom fraction number) in this case the denominator is 6 and 3 so we will multiply 3 by 2 to get 6. The numerator of 1/3 which is 1 will also be multiplied by 2. So 1/3 will become 2/6 and when you add 5/6+ 2/6 to get 7/6. This is an improper fraction so you simplify and obtain 1 and 1/6.

5/6 + 1/3

To add both sides need the same denominator. To give he fractions a common denominator, multiply the second fraction (1/3) by 2.

5/6 + 2/6

Add the numerators

7/6

Change into mixed number

1 and 1/6

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any questions you may have

Answer:

1500

Step-by-step explanation:

64/200 = 32/100 = 16/50 =

8/25 of 480 turtles marked

divide 480 by 8 and then multiply the quotient by 25

480/8= 60

Explanation:

Since 30 people have already voted, they need 30 more to vote so that they will have 60 votes. Since Devon got 4 votes the first time we will double that to go to 60 votes which than gives you your solution of 8 answer choice B.

How do I solve this
anastassius [24]
\bf \cfrac{x+2}{x^2+6x-7}    so, that function is "defined", ok, what values of "x" are not in the domain, namely, what values can "x" take on and not make the function "undefined", well,  you know, if we end up with a 0 at the denominator, like   \bf \cfrac{x+2}{0}    then, we'd have an "undefined" expression...so... any values of "x" that make the denominator 0, are not really the ones we want, and thus they'd be excluded from the domain.

so, hmm which are those? let's check, let's set the denominator to 0, and solve for "x".

\bf x^2+6x-7=0\implies (x+7)(x-1)=0\implies x=
\begin{cases}
-7\\
1
\end{cases}
\\\\\\
\textit{let's check, } x=-7\quad \cfrac{(-7)+2}{(-7)^2+6(-7)-7}\implies \cfrac{-5}{49-42-7}\implies \cfrac{-5}{0}
\\\\\\
x=1\quad \cfrac{(1)+2}{(1)^2+6(1)-7}\implies \cfrac{3}{1+6-7}\implies \cfrac{-3}{0}

Use undetermined coefficients to find the particular solution to 7t + 5=y''+y'-4y У, (t) - Preview Get help: Video Points possib
lions [1.4K]

Suppose y_p=a_0+a_1t is a solution to the ODE. Then {y_p}'=a_1 and {y_p}''=0, and substituting these into the ODE gives

a_1-4(a_0+a_1t)=7t+5\implies\begin{cases}-4a_1=7\\-4a_0+a_1=5\end{cases}\implies a_0=-\dfrac{27}{16},a_1=-\dfrac74

Then the particular solution to the ODE is

y_p=-\dfrac{27}{16}-\dfrac74t
