The answer is C: Satire. Satire criticizes people or ideas, with the purpose to show that they have faults or are wrong. The writers employ this technique with his fictional characters, using irony, exaggeration and humor, in a very indirect or disguised way. Fable (A) is a brief story with a moral lesson. Parable (B) is a short story also witha moral lesson. Allegory is a figure of speech (characters represent qualities relate to morals).

Deffense [45]
The example from ‘a visit of charity’ that slows down the pacing of the story is during the excerpt that reads or describes of how she wore a red coat with her yellow hair hanging down which are coming from her white cap, at the same time, all the little girls are wearing the same thing that year. It slows down the pacing of the story because it describes the appearance of the girl and how she is being differentiated or similar to the little girls.

Write two to three sentences explaining the similarities and differences between the haiku by Bashō and the first stanza of Word
Flauer [41]

Answer:

The similarities in the works of both authors showed that they both love nature.

From both literary works, Basho and Wordsworth love nature and this can be seen in their works. They both stated that nature is important as it beautifies the environment and it's vital to our existence.

The difference between their literary works was that while Wordsworth was the partaker in the action and narrator, Basho was an observer. Wordsworth used the first-person point of view

Also, the majority of Woodsworth's words are adjectives while Basho followed the haiku tradition.
