There was little rainfall for several years.

Answer: Option 3

Explanation:

During the time of 1930s, there was severe drought in the United States of America because of the lack of rainfall for many years. Because of this there was wind erosion. Moreover the farmers of that area did not apply the dry land farming also.

The time period of dust storm led to huge disaster and destruction in the ecology and to the environment of the American and Canadian prairies. This added more to the great depression and strengthened it even more because the production of food was also badly affected. Thus time period was known as the dirty 30s.

How was the Constitution significant in helping African Americans to gain civil rights?
nadya68 [22]
After the Civil War, the US Constitution became a means to ensure that African-Americans had rights in American society. This was due to the passage of the following three amendments:

1) 13th amendment- This outlawed slavery or forced labor all over the US.

2) 14th amendment- This amendment states that any person born on US soil or naturalized has all of the rights/freedoms guaranteed in the US Constitution.

3) 15th amendment- This amendment states that a person cannot be stopped from voting based on race, color, or past servitude. Essentially, this makes it so that a government can't stop a person from voting based on the fact that they were a slave before this time period.
