Founded by Sri Gupta, the Gupta empire was one of the largest empires of Ancient India. Historians regard this period as the Golden Age in the history of Ancient India. Chandragupta I, Samudragupta, and Chandragupta II were some of the prominent rulers of the Gupta dynasty. For around two centuries, the rulers of this dynasty provided political integration to a wide part of north India. The Guptas effectively ruled their empire accommodated in the development of those situations which brought about the growth of Sanskrit language and literature, widespread discoveries and inventions in science, trade and commerce, agriculture, art, logic, technology, mathematics, astronomy, engineering, dialectic, religion and philosophy. Monica [59]

Answer:

Explanation:

kvasek [131]

A. the Compromise of 1850 was illegal because it was illegal for Congress to deprive a slave owner of property (slaves) without the due process of law.

Under the Compromise of 1850, western states were allowed to vote whether or not territories would allow slavery. The compromise also created a dividing line for existing states between free and slave states.

The Dred Scott case was decided in 1857 after Scott's master had moved him into free states. He argued that by being moved into free states, declared after the Compromise of 1850, changed his status. The Court declared slaves were not people but were property. Due to their status as property, the property could not be taken away just because the master moved.

Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

The power that the Governor of Texas has that the President of United States does not have is the VETO power which he use as a legislature tool.

It is a powerful tool which the governor uses to overide most bill sent to him. Due to the fact that legislative session in Texas is short, the bills tht needs the governor's endorsment is sent in the final days of the session with majority of the bill being passed into law dependent on the governor.

If the bill is rejected (that is Vetoed), the legislatures woud not have the time to sit again and debate on the bill on whether to do vote to overide the governor's veto.

It is a powerful tool, to the extent that, it was only once that the bill vetoed by a Texas's governor has been overided by the legislature.
