<span>The Columbian Exchange was one of the most important events in history. It was the exchange of goods, people/animals, and ideas from the New World to the Old World and the Old World to the New World. It created an economic association between Europe and America. It connected the world. All in all, the Columbian exchange had a positive effect on history. 
Many Native Americans may not have been killed from diseases, but we would also not had a lot of goods and not been able to transport them if the Columbian Exchange had not be established.
