Answer:

Glaciation has carved out narrow sea inlets between rocky cliffs in Scandinavia and on Norway’s coasts. These inlets are called fjords.

Fjord is a landform that is a deep, narrow and elongated sea or lake with steep land on three sides. The opening to the sea is called the mouth of the fjord and is often shallow. The innermost part of the fjord is called the fjord bottom. If the oat is wider than it is long, it is a bay.

Most of the fjords are of tectonic origin and arose when there was a sharp and sudden change in the direction of movement of the tectonic plates. As a result of this, at the edges of plates already compressed by preliminary oncoming motion, numerous cracks and faults form, which are filled with sea water. In this case, the fjord can have a significant depth, up to 800 or more meters, and sometimes more than a kilometer.

Answer:

Angle CBE = 48 degrees.

Explanation:

I'm doing the same math quiz right now and was pretty stumped. However, it was actually really easy once you think about it enough!

Please make sure to reword my answer and remember as stated already at the beginning of the quiz, the angles are not drawn to scale.

Step 1: Take the stuff that equals CBE, turn it into an equation, and solve.

 • 5x + 42 = 7x + 6
 • x = 18

OPTIONAL: Plug 18 for x into the equation and you'll get 132 = 132, making it a true answer.

Step 2: Plug 18 for x into the angle measurements.

ABD: 42 degrees (given)

DBE: 5(18) = 90 degrees

CBE: Take 180 and subtract both 42 and 90. You get 48 degrees, which is your final answer.

How are all quadrilaterals alike and how can they be different?
Darya [45]
All quadrilaterals are alike because all of them have four sides, are coplanar, have two diagonals, and the sum of their four interior angles equals 360 degrees. Quadrilaterals can be different because they may or may not have parallel sides or equal sides, and there are many different types of quadrilaterals with special properties.
