How did the french lose control of vietnam
jok3333 [9.3K]

Answer:

The French soldiers were not prepared to fight against guerrilla forces.

Explanation:

  • It will soon be shown that the French army, trained in conventional warfare, was not ready for confrontation with easily moving guerrilla forces.
  • This was especially noticeable in the north of the country where the positions of the colonial army were scattered.
  • The Vietminh practiced concentrated force attacks on French positions, thus destroying position by position.
  • In the event that Vietminh aid was sent to the attacked forces, it would often find out very quickly, and in most cases would be ambushed to kill thousands of colonial soldiers. In October 1950, only one such ambush killed 6,000 colonial soldiers.

Why the middle colonies Can be called a melting pot
Brilliant_brown [7]

Answer:

The Middle Colonies were the most ethnically and religiously diverse of the thirteen original colonies so they were called a melting pot.

Explanation:

In the Old World, many people were persecuted for not believing the religion that was accepted. So they fled to the middle colonies who accepted them . The religions that was incorporated into the colonies were as follows: Quaker, German Lutherans, German Reformed, Mennonites, Amish, Moravians, Scotch Irish Presbyterians, and the Dutch Reformed . The middle colonies consisted of 4 colonies: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware . The middle colonies had great farming opportunities and many jobs available that attracted immigrants from the Old World . The main "attraction" was how religiously tolerant were the colonists from the middle colonies . This vast migration of immigrants caused a big impact in the United States . It added different cultures that would later form into new ones and it caused even more immigrants to come to the Americas.

In six years, jill will be twice amanda’s age. one year ago, jill was nine times amanda’s age. how old is jill now?
nydimaria [60]
Jill = J
Amanda = A

J + 6 = 2 (A+6)   ..... .........................   J + 6 = 2A + 12
J -1 = 9 (A-1)       ...............................   J - 1  = 9A -9___      (- )

We need to elimiate both of those formula , the result will be
7 = -7A + 21
7A= 14
A = 2 >>>>> subtitute this to any formula above

So, Jill's age now would be:
J + 6 = 2 (A+6)
J + 6 = 2 (2+6)
J + 6 = 16
J = 10
