When I was nineteen, I lived in Costa rica for a few months. This beautiful country is filled with fruits and flowers growing everywhere. The country is also blessed with rain forests, mountains, and inactive volcanoes. One of my favorite memories are of a time I stayed overnight on the beach with some friends. At about midnight, we decided to stand waist-deep in the warm ocean water. A gentle rain began to fall, we could see lightning flashing in the clouds miles away. Suddenly, we all gasped in amazement. Lines of flickering green light were dancing across the tops of the waves. As they rolled toward us. We learned later that the light was caused by tiny glowing animals which live on the oceans surface. That night was a magical time for us.
Please help!! I'm really bad at this.

Which is a correct analysis of the sentence?
Vladimir [108]
This is the original sentence: <span>In a feeding frenzy, the pigeons descended upon the breadcrumbs that the kindly old man on the park bench continued to toss.

The correct answer is the prepositional phrase "on the park bench" acts as an adjectival phrase.
A is incorrect because a prepositional phrase cannot be a gerund phrase too. B is incorrect because a prepositional phrase cannot be a verb phrase as well. D is incorrect because 'to toss' is not a prepositional phrase, but rather an infinitive.

Describe the physical setting of the story. Which words or descriptions contribute to the emotional setting or mood? What is the
dexar [7]

Answer: suspenseful and mysterious mood.

Explanation:

At the beginning, the setting starts out in a plane, then, it eventually turns to an hospital, more so, changing of the setting builds some sorts of suspense. Reason been he doesn't know where he is, where he's heading to, neither does he know what is going on, same as you too. As it was described in the story, when the character was pulling himself to the window, everyone was wondering what he saw and what exactly was going on in the window. Hence it gives a suspenseful and mysterious mood.
