Comic books are worthwile to read by everyone because they are another art form. Whether a book has photos, small print, boxes, whatever, they all have a meaning. The stereotype that comics book are just for kids or are only superhero related is outdated and leaves the wonderful world seeming closed off to so many.

Answer:

The first sentence is a run on sentence (meaning it needs to be made into two or more sentences because it is too long.) I personally would fix this by, "...much more in common than most readers think. This is because both of these characters see and ......". Either that, or add some more commas to make it easier to read. Also, the texts need quotation marks around them. That's about it, it looks great besides that!

  • Using knowledge gained from the Red Wing and the White Wing, Curtiss built the "June Bug", outfitted with additional improvements. This airplane responded so well in testing, that Curtiss determined to enter it in competition for the Scientific American trophy. He won the first leg in 1908.
  • He did an aircraft and  named it the "Hudson Flyer". He won the prize money, nationwide recognition, and in the process, won the third leg of the Scientific American Competition and permanent possession of the coveted trophy.
  • A final high point in Curtiss's aviation career came in 1919, when the U.S.Navy Curtiss NC-4 Flying Boat became the first aircraft to successfully cross the Atlantic Ocean.
