Answer:

The term Fascism comes from the Italian word fasci which means ¨bundle of sticks¨, symbolizing strength in unity.

1 History: Mussolini was a charismatic figure that fitted perfectly in the sensitive Italian idea of a ¨Ceasar¨ , a strong leader that can unit his people. Hitler had supposedly the right (ideological and economic) answers for the German people who suffered from the Versailles war treaties.

2. Unity: Where Mussolini sought the Italian unity in a more geographical sence, Hitler was more concerned with uniting the German Volk (people).

3. Ideology and propaganda: Hitler´s idea of Lebensraum (space to live) and the special role the German people supposedly had in the world, were the ideological fundaments that proved very succesfull in convincing the Germans of the need for European expansion; Mussolini´s ideology was more based on reviving the glory of the Roman Empire without trying to conquer the whole of Europe.

4. Military strength and strategies: they differed much in strength and how to obtain their military goals: Mussolini was much weaker compared to the impressive German war-machine, especially in the first war years.

5. Personality: Hitler, as we know, was obsessed with wiping out the Jews which he hated; Mussolini, although a racist, didn´t go that far and was more obsessed with Italy itself.

6. Fascism & Nazism: The Fascism of Mussolini was a yearning for national unity and strong leadership; Hitler´s nazism is a form of fascism that incorporated anti-communism, antisemitism and scientific racism.

Gilgamesh's relationship with Enkidu teaches him many life lessons. Discuss two of the lessons that he learned on his journey. W
Vadim26 [7]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

The Epic of Gilgamesh is one of the ancients books or documents known to historians. It is probably the first one in the history of humanity. It relates to the life and adventures of Gilgamesh, in ancient Mesopotamia.

Yes, in the story, Gilgamesh's relationship with Enkidu teaches him many life lessons.

One of the lessons that he learned on his journey is the persistence to accomplish what you want, despite the toughest circumstances. The other lesson is that death is inevitable. It is part of the life of humans, It is the end of the trip.

Gilgamesh is presented as 1/3 human and 2/3 god while Enkidu is presented as half human and half animal before he is "tamed" because according to the story and the narrative of the Sumerians, it was the gods who came to earth from the sky. They were known to be giants and had special "knacks" or characteristics. When these gods married human women, then, they breed a rare mixture of humans with other species.

Those texts can be found in the famous clay tablets of the Sumerians.

Why were the Nuremberg Laws so effective in discriminating
against German Jews?
Lyrx [107]

Answer:It was in Nuremberg, officially designated as the "City of the Reich Party Rallies," in the province of Bavaria, where Adolf Hitler and his Nazi Party in 1935 changed the status of German Jews to that of Jews in Germany, thus "legally" establishing the framework that eventually led to the Holocaust.

Ten years later, it would also be in Nuremberg, now nearly destroyed by British and American heavy bombing, where surviving prominent Nazi leaders were put on trial for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The war in Europe ended in May 1945, and soon the attention of the Allies turned to prosecuting those Third Reich leaders who had been responsible for, among other things, the persecution of the Jews and the Holocaust.

The trials began November 20, 1945, in Nuremberg's Palace of Justice, which had somehow survived the intense Allied bombings of 1944 and 1945.

The next day, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Robert H. Jackson, named by President Harry S. Truman as the U.S. chief counsel for the prosecution of Axis criminality, made his opening statement to the International Military Tribunal.

"The most serious actions against Jews were outside of any law, but the law itself was employed to some extent. They were the infamous Nuremberg decrees of September 15, 1935," Jackson said.

Explanation:

 • The freedom of speech guaranteed by the Constitution is not just limited to the idea of verbal speech, but it also includes the easily and clearly interpretable idea of expressive speech devoid of words.
 • This refers to the unquoted freedom of expression which is ultimately a part of the freedom of speech.
 • In the given scenario, though the students are not using any words to protest against the candidate, their actions are expressive enough and are protected by the right to freedom of speech.
