Men and Women Equaled Time for Chores

Chores are something that is apart of everyday life. Whether you have to make your bed in the morning, do the laundry, pull out the weeds/sow seeds, or repair your car that's a chore. However, sometimes, depending on our age, we may receive more or less chores. However, should men and women take the same time to do household chores?

If men and women take the same amount of time (from start to finish) to complete their list of chores, this will result in the same amount of free time. This is because when one receives a shorter list of chores the one will the longer list would notice this, become jealous and fed up which would cause the rest of the chores to be incomplete. Besides, although women have been titled “the lady of the house” (since the were the ones at home all the time back in the early 1900's and earlier), the wife as the spouse of the husband would think that they have to make the good impression of being a good wife by only doing household chores (the same can apply to the men if swapped).

However, that doesn't mean the men need to do more work (or the women if the situation is swapped). If each spouse works together to clear the rooms of the house, they could also find items that could have been lost for a while or could have been something they knew they didn't have. They could also use a planner. The planner will help classify who gets to do these chores, how long, etc. It would make it easier, and cause each spouse to treat each other fairly. Basically, one spouse won't hide/lock anything away (upstairs in the attic, downstairs of the basement, etc) since they believe the other spouse is lazy and unwilling to help.

Overall, if men and women have the same amount of time for household chores their relationship could go smoother. Not many secrets would be kept and they could be a great team. Yet, if one has some sort of languor then it would be understandable why one would do less or more. In the end, things would be completed easier and quicker allowing an easier time in life.

Women and men should not do the same amount of chores. I think women should do more chores for many reasons. First, women have more free time. women have more free time to do work at home like laundry. according to statistics 60% of women are unemployed and are house moms. this means that many women have more free time to do more house chores.

How does the author of the invitation mainly reveal Michelles charecter 1. Through Aishas actions 2. Through tashas thoughts 3.
anygoal [31]

The correct answer is 1. Through Aisha’s actions.

There are no descriptions of Michelle’s character provided by the author in this excerpt. Her thoughts as well as Tasha’s are also unknown for the reader. Only Aisha’s actions provide hints as to what Michelle’s character is. They do it in two manners:

- Her words about Michelle and Jeremy not getting along very well allow the reader to contrast Michelle’s and Jeremy’s personalities and thus find out this way what Michelle’s personality and ideas are.

- Aisha’s actions allow Michel to react and that provides further indications about her personality and demeanor.
