Article 2 of the United States Constitution is the section that makes the executive branch of the government. The Executive branch of the government is the branch that has the responsibility and authority for the administration throughout the day of the state.
The United States Constitution states that the government power is divided by three branches: Legislative, Executive and Judicial.
The Executive branch is created and delimited under Article II of the United States Constitution, in which it is stated that the President of the United States is also the Commander in Chief of the U.S. military forces and will rule for a four-year term. Article II also states the responsibilities of the Vice-President and that both President and Vice-President need to be chosen by electors, executive officers can be appointed for administrative purposes, and it also includes the Advice and Consent clause as part of the Checks and Balances system, where the Constitution grants the Senate the power to give advice and consent to the United States President.
The Alien and Sedition Act, Amnesty Law, and <span>Espionage Act of 1917 unauthorized the president to arrest and deport immigrants who criticized the federal government and limit the free speech of Americans.</span>
