Why does Macbeth kill the king’s servants?

English

This is because he wanted it to look like they killed Duncan (The King), if they were alive and people found out it wasn't them, the suspicions would start to go around and inquiries were happening. Macbeth didn't want to make it obvious so he said he killed them out of "rage" over their actions.

Macbeth felt he had to kill the king's servants as they may have possibly figured out that it was him who killed the king. He then tells others he had to kill them as they had killed the king.

Shakespeare spent most of his life in his hometown with only an occasional trip to London.
Brums [2.3K]
I'm going to say false. He was alive during the Elizabethan era (when Queen Elizabeth I was on the throne) and performed plays in her palace or court area, which was located in London. That is about all I can remember about Shakespeare from high school.

Hopefully this helped and good luck.

Scrat [10]

Part A. The correct answer is C. While their rights were limited and their relationship with locals shaky, metics had the opportunity of social mobility and full citizenship status, for either themselves or their children.

Part B. The correct answer is C. “Despite the suspicions and prejudices against foreign “barbarians” which often crop up in literary sources, there were cases when metoikoi did manage to become full citizens after a suitable display of loyalty and contribution to the good of the host state.” (Paragraph 16)

Explanation: In "Greek Society" by Mark Cartwright, the author explains that while foreigners were mostly a recognized class, their residence granted them a lower status compared to local citizens. However, achieving full citizenship was possible for the xenoi.
