plot: tanjiro's family gets attacked by demons while he is away. they all died except his sister nezuko, who has turned into a demon herself. His goal in the story is to find a cure so nezuko can once again become human.

setting: Taisho era Japan

characters: Tanjiro (protagonist), Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Sugoku

Conflict: while tanjiro is searching for a cure, he has to battle demons and risk his life. So initially he has to train as a demon slayer.
