Answer: B. search for the meaning of life.

Explanation: In the given passage we can see a pilgrim asking a scholar, a sailor or a wise man from the skies to tell him where is the place called "morning". Based on that information we can infer that the passage reveals the theme of searching for the meaning of life, when he asks for where the place called "Morning" lies, he is asking "the wise man from the skies" for the meaning of his life.

Can we consider an activist as a humanitarian?
Degger [83]
It depends what kind of activist we are talking about. If the activist was for human rights, we could possibly consider them as a humanitarian, because the definition for humanitarian is: concerned with or seeking to promote human welfare. This is quite similar to a human rights activist, so I would say yes.

3. It has been said that bravery is not the alasence of fear but confronting
nevsk [136]

Answer:

I strongly agree with this opinion. In my personal belief, bravery is not about you fearing nothing, it's about you being afraid of something but still facing that thing you're afraid off, regardless of the fear in your heart.

For example, I'm deathly scared of spiders. But whenever I see one, I took a deep albeit shaky breath, grab a cup, approach it (even though I'm shrieking whenever it moves), cover it, then throw it outside. It may sound funny but it's actually me being brave! Why? Because I'm afraid of it, but I never ran away from it.

In Elie Wiesel’s Night, the prisoners hold a service for Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, in the concentration camp Buna.
valina [46]
The correct answer here is the first one as Eliezer is extremely angry at God and that is why he could not partake in the celebration of the Jewish New Year. Eliezer felt that he was accuser of God, accusing him for everything. In the end he felt alone and afraid in the world according to him without love, without men and without God.
