Well, I can argue with both sides. Let’s start with yes, they should be able to petition for family members. Why? Simple, the more the people the better. If they’re willing to provide for the society they should be more than welcomed to become permanent residents. When I say provide, I mean do jobs that are needed to be done. United States is suppose to be “land of the free” everyone should be welcomed. However, I can see why some people would disagree. They would argue that they would be taking to much of our resources, taking our jobs as President Donald Trump once said. They can also say they want to make sure their kids get what they need to be successful instead of some immigrant. It all really comes down to personal opinion really.
Not sure if this is what you mean but since laptops are mobile (they’re literally mobile computers,) you could just say ‘laptops’ and it would mean the same thing. You could say ‘devices’ to be reaaaally general, but if you say ‘laptop’ it means the same thing as ‘mobile laptop’. So you could just say “Laptop” to mean the same thing in one word.
