I need help. The answer I have is also the wrong answer.
MaRussiya [10]

Answer:

Option D: The area will be multiplied by 16.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the area of the figure is 13 sq. in.

Let is say the figure is of dimensions: a & b.

Therefore, a.b = 13 sq. in

When each of the dimension is multiplied by 4, the dimensions would become 4a and 4b.

Therefore, the area would be: 4a . 4b = 16 a . b = 16(13) sq. in.

Hence, the area is multiplied by 16.
