Answer:

The Battle of the El Alamein was one of the significant North African campaigns in World War II.  The war fought between the British and the German-Italian army. The war won by the British Empire without the help of the United States and defeated the Afrika Korps and the Italian Army in Africa. El Alamein is a Mediterranean coast, essential for both Allies and Axis powers, to control the area for the war supplies and it was a passage to enter Europe through naval.
